# Babies and IVs

I can't believe that Cam is now out of the school/classes part of his paramedic training and out doing practicals and clinicals in the real world...on real people!

On one of his first shifts he went right into giving IVs to people. Not one or two, but TEN before the shift was over.

Then a few days later he got to experience live births as part of his training. I captured his comments right after his shift ended:

"I feel like I aged 20 years. I saw a bunch of things I'm not even sure how to feel about."
